Apart from horizontal drying systems, vertical systems become more and more important. The basic idea is to dry the fabric vertically after coating it with a foulard or a doubleside roller application system in order to avoid the contact of the rollers with the wet coat. Here, the ideal control of the temperature in the upper area of the dryer is of vital importance. Coatema has solved this problem and can demonstrate this technology with a vertical dryer in ist own R&D center. Coatema´s Vertidry is available as jet dryer or as infrared dryer.
