With the Doubleside Coater, it is possible to realise horizontal doubleside coatings in one production step. Different combinations of coating systems can be used. The rear side of the substrate can for example be coated by a kisscoater, whereas the upside is coated with a doctor blade with the kisscoater´s roller being the application roller. It is also possible to use two kisscoaters for this kind of doubleside application.

This aggregate is available in working widths from 1.200 mm to 5.200 mm. The Doubleside Coater can be delivered in EEx as well as in IP54, with different versions of the coating roller like e.g. chrome-plated or as rubber roller or with a manual or motoric gap adjustment.
Pneumatic quick ventilation and massive layout of the with correspondingly designed to keep the knife in the precise position even with larger coating widths. As part of the Coatema quality, these items go without saying.

This combi-system for the horizontal doubleside coating is another highlight in Coatema´s development of new coating systems.
