Flexibility and profitability (see also COATEMA Advantages and COATEMA Competence ) , the transfer of Know-how and the acceleration of innovations form the basis of COATEMA´s business philosophy. In order to satisfy these values, we have extended our company-own R&D center to a surface of more than 1.200 m² now. Here we can offer you prduction plants fit for service with working widths from 250mm to 2.000 mm.

Apart from standard coating systems like different knife coating, roller coating and slot die coating systems for the application of dispersions and solvent-based coating raw materials, as well as of hotmelts and powder raw materials, also new coating technologies are available for the users of COATEMA´s R&D Center. Innovative Products like e.g. sol-gel coatings, fuel cells, solar cells energy systems, but also functional roof membrane systems or medical products can be coated on the plant technology on hand. Highest versatility and maximum reproducibility of the results.
The majority of the plants in our R&D center can be used in multifunctional ways. This is why the most different coatings and laminatings can be realised for the most different fields of application (industries), for roll-to-roll applications or sheet-to-sheet applications.
It was the reproducibilty and the transferability of the trials to the serial production that was especially focused while designing the plants. Thanks to our sophisticated and modular construction method, this aim was reached to almost 100 per cent.
