The increasing claim to quality on coating as well as the innovative substrates and raw coating materials need exactly defined temperatures and sojourn times to reach ideal drying and fixation. Traditional drying constructions do not meet all requirements. This is why COATEMA searched for new solutions to guarantee an accurate temperature- and air duct. The dryer has to be exactly tunable and constantly reproducible with the particular coating system (Speed, pulling tensile force, web tension).

Coatema found the solution. It is the patented air jet system needed for air dryers, which are very important for many applications. The air jet system safeguards in the COATEMA MODULDRY (see picture right) an equal and controllable flow of air and flow of temperature over the whole working width and section length on every point of the modular executable dryer. MODULDRY is also constructed as EEx-version. The Coatema Moduldry can be thermal oil-heated, as well as gas-heated or electrical.
